KYN61-40.5 (Z type) armored removable AC metal-enclosed switch cabinet (hereinafter referred to as "switch cabinet") is a three-phase AC 50Hz, rated voltage 40.5KV indoor complete power distribution device. Structural Description
KYN61-40.5 metal-enclosed switchgear is mainly composed of two parts: the cabinet and the circuit breaker handcart. The cabinet is divided into four separate compartments: circuit breaker room (also called handcart room), busbar room, cable room, and relay instrument room. The protection level of the housing is IP4X, and the protection level when the circuit breaker door is open is IP2X. The circuit breaker handcart is composed of a circuit breaker and a chassis trolley, and has cable incoming and outgoing lines, overhead incoming and outgoing lines, communication, metering, isolation and other functions. The cabinet is made of high-quality cold-rolled steel plates or aluminum-zinc coated steel plates and processed by CNC sheet metal. Bending and forming, assembled through high-strength bolts, nuts (grade 8.8) or blind rivet nuts.

This prevents accidents caused by the movement of the handcart due to electrodynamic force. The overrunning clutch activates when the handcart moves back to the test position and advances to the working position, so that the operating shaft and the screw are automatically separated and idling, which can prevent over-limit operations from damaging the propulsion mechanism.

There are pressure relief channels in the circuit breaker room, bus channel and cable room. One end of each pressure relief partition is fixed with metal bolts, and the other end is fixed with plastic bolts. When a fault occurs, the internal high-pressure gas can easily remove the pressure relief cover. The plate breaks open to release the pressure to ensure the safety of operators and switchgear.
The switch cabinet is equipped with a live display device that monitors the live status of the primary circuit. The device can not only display the charged status of the high-voltage circuit, but can also cooperate with the electromagnetic lock to achieve forced locking, thereby improving the product's protection function. In order to prevent the harm caused by condensation in climate environments with large altitude and temperature changes, heaters can be installed in the circuit breaker room and cable room respectively.
