XGN15-12(F)/XGN15-12(FR) box-type fixed AC metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as switchgear). It is used in ring network power supply or radial power supply systems with a rated voltage of 12KV and a rated current of 630A and below. It is especially suitable for installation into prefabricated substations for the control and protection of the power system. This product is a FLN36-12D sulfur hexafluoride load switch or FLRN36-12D load switch and fuse combination appliance with an insulating shell inside. It has the characteristics of small size, light weight, easy operation, light operating force, reliable interlocking, and maintenance-free. It is a new generation of high-voltage switchgear required for urban power grid transformation and construction.

The switchgear consists of cabinet, main switch (SF6 load switch or combination electrical appliance), grounding switch, instrument room, busbar and other electrical components and auxiliary components.
The cabinet body is made of aluminum-zinc coated steel plates and assembled through modular molding. There is a pressure relief channel behind the cabinet to protect the operator in the event of internal failure.
The busbar in the busbar room is insulated and directly connected to the terminal block of the load switch. The three-phase busbars are arranged vertically and horizontally, so that the switchgear can be expanded arbitrarily on the left and right sides, making it easy to change its layout.
The instrument room is located at the upper part of the switchgear. Ammeters, voltmeter indicators, electric operating mechanisms, etc. can be installed in the room.

For switchgear equipped with load switches, use a special operating handle to operate on the front of the switchgear. There are two upper and lower operating holes on the front of the operating mechanism, the upper part is the grounding switch operation hole, and the lower part is the load switch operation hole. During operation, the handle rotates clockwise for the switch closing direction and counterclockwise for the switch opening direction. An electric opening and closing device can also be installed for operation. (Note that sometimes the load switch does not have a grounding switch, and the grounding switch operation hole is used to unlock the cabinet door).
For switchgear equipped with combination appliances, the operation sequence is the same as above except that the load switch is divided into manual opening and closing buttons for operation. The lower grounding switch in the combined electrical cabinet is opened and closed together with the upper grounding switch through a connecting rod. When closing, the residual small current on the lower fuse holder is released to improve safety when replacing the fuse.
